Employee Spotlight: Meet Bob Hansen
Special AnnouncementsMeet Bob Hansen: the newest advisor and 'quintessential family man' of FSB Premier Wealth Management.
Bob has been working with FSB Premier since February and continues to grow professionally with us; he recently completed his Series 66 license exam and assumed his new role as a financial advisor. Bob has always loved interacting with people, and for the past 13 years working in the financial industry, he finds joy in helping them get to a place that's better off than where they were before, whether it be financially or in life.
One of the most important things in Bob's life is family. Growing up in Idaho in a large family with 4 brothers and 4 sisters, he values time spent with them at any moment he can get. He and his siblings, who are spread out all across the country, come together every few years for a huge family reunion.
Bob carried those family values over into the next chapter of his life. He met his wife, Nichole, on September 19, 2015, and the two were married five years later to the date. They bring together, in total, 6 children: Jacob (20), Joshua (17), Carter (16), Mackenzie (14), Jonathan (13) and Brady (12). Dubbed as the "modern-day Brady Bunch," Bob and Nichole keep busy raising their blended family by attending sporting events and other activities their kids are involved in.
When Bob isn't running around, he enjoys date nights with his wife in downtown Cedar Falls, kayaking with his family, and other recreational activities in the area. Bob has called the Cedar Valley home for the last 32 years, always finding something new to do.
Traveling has always been one of Bob's favorite things. He and his family traveled to many different places across the country and around the world such as Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, Austria, Japan, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas. He has also visited 41 out of the 50 states, hoping to visit the rest with his family.
This summer marked the first vacation for Bob and his family. They loaded up 2 cars and took a 3,500 mile road trip through Colorado and stayed at a family cabin in Utah. He said the kids loved this time together to see and do lots of new things such as fishing, eating, and hiking out in the wilderness.
Bob takes his family values and zest for adventure and applies it to his work. Naturally, it didn't take long for him to become a part of the FSB Premier family, as we are excited to see what he does moving forward with us. Bob is always ready to help our clients with their journeys -- whether it be planning for a family, planning for the next big adventure, or both.
