Although Jen was born in New Orleans and raised in St. Louis, she has called Iowa home ever since she went to the University of Iowa over two decades ago and never left the state.  She and her husband Jim met and lived in Des Moines before eventually settling in Waterloo where they currently live with their daughter Gracie and son Jackson.  Their free time is primarily spent going to their kids many extra-curricular activities including Gracie’s cross country and marching band and Jackson’s football and baseball.  They also enjoy spending time with friends, live music, cheering on the Hawkeyes and traveling.  Some of their favorite family trips include a National Geographic Alaskan cruise and a summer vacation to Vail, Colorado.

• Series 6 & 7 licensed
• Life and Health insurance licensed
• 14 years as a Retirement Specialist in the employer-sponsored retirement plan sector
• Bachelors of Arts (BA) from the University of Iowa in Journalism & Mass Communication
